COVID CAR BUYING – A Concorde reflection

Unless you have been living under a rock in a deserted island then you or somebody you know has probably been impacted by the Global Coronavirus Pandemic known as COVID-19in some way or the other.

Small businesses have been affected the most along with those who wholly rely on consumer interactions and cannot trade online.

For us at Concorde, to say it has been ‘business as usual’ would be an understatement. We have seen a gradual surge in demand for our services from the end of Q1 2020 last year which peaked in Q2/Q3 during the long summer months.

During the various lockdowns we also took a step back to reflect on the challenges an international trading enterprise faces, not least during a pandemic – and we are pleased to have built a business strategy where our customers are at the heart of our progress, vision and commitment.

In these uncertain times, many of our local customers have trusted us to view and inspect vehicles other their behalf because of the COVID restrictions in place. We have been vigilant in protecting both our staff and customers by fully abiding by all laws and regulations including full PPE – and sanitising vehicles pre-and post purchase.

There is, however the issue with shipping delays as a direct result of the pandemic but truth be told we have not faced any major difficulties in this regard.
